Referral Service
Employment Counsellors will refer clients to Community Coordinators who are responsible for the following programs if it has been identified as a part of a clients return to work action plan:
- Targeted Wage Subsidy program
- Skills Development Employment Benefits program
- Self-employment program
Referrals can also be made to the following services throughout the community depending on the client’s individual scenario and needs. - Drug and Alcohol programs
- Counselling and rehabilitation programs
- Victims Assistance program - counselling
- Food Bank program
- Social Advocacy program
- Men’s Counselling program
- Youth Centre – counselling and healthy activities:
- Lillooet Mental Health program
- Lillooet Medical Clinic / Hospital – doctor referral
- Lillooet Learns – FASD – Learning disabilities
- Drug and Alcohol programs at community and band levels
- Community Health Nurse at community and band level
- Rehab Group in Kamloops area
Education Related Disabilities: - Lillooet Adult Education Centre – School District # 74
- Lillooet Learns
- Band Social Workers and Education Coordinators
